That’s not all – we also have the new Raspberry Pi HQ Camera Module and lenses to improve the imaging sensing capabilities for your favorite Pi. Let’s take a closer look at all of our new products for this first week of September!
The SparkFun ProDriver makes it easy to start developing with the TC78H670FTG bipolar stepper motor driver from Toshiba. Latch terminals provide instant solder-less connections to every feature offered. Use our extensive Arduino Library with 10 examples, and you can quickly explore the many features of this precise, small-size motor driver IC.
The High Quality Camera Module is a camera sensor designed to accept CS-mount lenses and, with the supplied adapter, C-mount lenses for use with the Raspberry Pi single board computer line. It offers higher resolution (12 megapixels, compared to eight megapixels), and sensitivity (approximately 50 percent greater area per pixel, for improved low-light performance) than the existing Camera Module v2. The 12.3 megapixel Sony IMX477 sensor features a 7.9mm diagonal image size and back-illuminated sensor architecture with adjustable back focus. Additionally, this module features an included tripod thread just adjacent to the ribbon cable connector.
This is the 16mm C-mount telephoto lens for use with the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera Module. The lens produces a 10MP picture in a one-inch image format, and is easily interchangeable using the thumb screw and adapter included with the Pi HQ Camera Module. This telephoto lens excels when taking distance or close-up photos.
This is the 6mm CS-mount wide angle lens for use with the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera Module. The lens produces a 3MP picture in a half-inch image format, and is easily interchangeable using the thumb screw and adapter included with the Pi HQ camera module.
